There are dozens of A2 ghee brands in India, and most make the same claims — ‘pure’, ‘A2’, ‘bilona’. The ones worth your money are the few that can prove it: a named source, a batch-wise lab report, a real bilona process, and a named A2 breed. Judge brands on proof, not promises — the checklist below works for any of them.

It’s hand-churned by a group of [__] women-led households, led by Manju Bhatt, from grass-fed Pahadi Badri cows that graze freely in the surrounding buransh & oak forests.
Every batch ships with a third-party lab report and a batch code on the jar, the bilona process is real and on video, and the breed and source are named — not ‘Himalayan’, but Maitoli. That’s the standard we think every brand should be held to.
